### words notes: xx A PERFECTLY CONSTRUCTED ALIBI Hayley had called a family meeting for everyone to come to the mansion to speak about what has been going on, and also any updates that anyone would receive. Hayley was fighting her hybrid urge to keep it at bay without losing control, but that wasn't exactly easy as it sounded. Dressed casually, Hayley watched the staff prepare the food and bottles of human blood placing them on the table. She wondered where Klaus had gone to a couple days ago, Hayley remembered Klaus saying he had to go out of town for the time being, and she didn't like when he didn't tell her something.
She had texted Rebekah, Kol, Klaus to come meet her and after getting replies they would be there Hayley was satisfied. She really did miss Elijah, but Hayley understood he had some issues and things he needed to work out and that was fine with her. All Hayley wanted was to see her daughter and get her family together again, but that wouldn't be easy with Katherine running the shots. Hayley knew of Rebekah's condition and luckily Freya gave her something that would keep lock up the hex for a bit until a cure could be made.
She chuckled wondering if there was going to be any drama normally the Mikaelson dinners always get up in some kind of violence, but Hayley loved when Kol would get Klaus going it amused her to no end. She wanted to check up on Rebekah, and after receiving a message from Kol that he was bringing someone who could shed an answer on what was going on. Hayley got word that a few wolves had seen Katherine meeting with Marcel which was sneaky that only meant that they both were working together. Hayley would need to get answers from Tatia at least what Kol had told her.

| PATHETIC✘ In the end we are left infinitely and utterly alone After cutting his meeting slightly short with Caroline, it was such a breathtaking trip, but all in all, it was necessary. Since Hayley wanted to keep that little detail day’s after his imprisonment about Hope being in the care of Caroline, well, who’s to say he couldn’t keep his little meeting to himself. After receiving a text from Hayley about the family meeting commencing, he sent his reply and made his way back to his home for this rather interesting congregation that was created by the mother of his child. Dressed casually as usual, he made his way through the mansion and to where Hayley was. Holding his hands out wide open almost as if to say ‘where the hell is everyone’ he finally spoke soon “And where might these imbecile’s that share the cold blood running through these veins are?” he inquired with a highly sarcastic tone in his voice. Making his way towards a table where the food and bottles were laid out and smirked. Off to the side there would always be some sort of counter that held the scotch and since he was in a rather light mood, instead of digging his hands onto what’s being set, he decided to go for a drink. Once he arrived and chosen a glass, he picked up another setting the two side by side as he glanced over at Hayley that was purely watching and in her thoughts at the moment. Pouring the scotch in each cup before raising both in each hand, he made his way over to Hayley “And how is the little wolf with taming her wretched curse?” he asked with a raised eyebrow inching the cup in her direction offering it to her. “I do still suppose you still hold your scotch well, hmm” he stated. He would wait on her reaction to take his swig and if she didn’t then he’d take both of them back to back. His ears and attentiveness were at its peak awaiting to hear some random entrance from his siblings. He would wait a moment for their arrival, just in case, even though he had every dying vein in him to ask Hayley first about her pack’s intel on the matter. It was he who wanted answers rather quickly before he’d go ape, or better yet, mad. |

Rebekah had received the message, not surprised by the need to call the family to one place. It had been a bit, and it was necessary considering all that was occurring. Although, the blonde Original hadn't the full picture, mostly focused on containing herself and trying not to rip heads off of everybody that pissed her off. A most difficult task. She returned a message that she was on her way, setting off at a hurried pace.
She made her way into the house with arms crossing, a mocking frown being shot Niklaus' way as she caught his words. "Clearly not here yet." She mused, raising a brow at his immediacy in grabbing a drink. The table was laid out nicely, as it often was when the Mikaelsons gathered together for family matters. The Original sister opted to grab a glass of red wine, taking a delicate sip and then slowly turning to face the pair.
"Well, we're just missing Kol, if I'm correct," Rebekah observed, wondering with a twinge of curiosity and uncertainty how this would play out. She wasn't clear yet if Niklaus had caught on to her temperament and that she was still hexed. She knew Kol was working with the witches to help her, so naturally, her sister Freya knew, as well as Hayley. It wasn't hard to figure that Nik wouldn't be pleased by the development once he discovered it, so she was hopeful they could find a fix to it sooner rather than later.

| Freya was out at a bar drinking out her sorrows since the day of Finn's death still harbors a fresh reminder of the family that she had lost, but finally gained the rest of the siblings trust as she hoped that Hope was happy and safe in Mystic Falls. It was a bitter pill to swallow as she had refused Hope's arrival at Mystic Falls but it wasn't her choice to give, so she left it alone for now. After Hayley had freed her from her poisonous curse, Freya had met someone, a werewolf that held the cure for the siblings that was once bitten by Marcel, she decided to protect her in hopes to give her time to heal and to regain her blood status so she'd have enough to hopefully end Marcel's life, but doing so she ended up in love with her and needed to let the family know as she didn't want any objections of loving a girl that'd be their savior from Marcel's terror.
The mansion came into her view once she received word by a simple text from Hayley that the family should be in the meeting, Freya finished her last drink and stumbled on into the direction of the home. "We're missing Kol, if I'm correct" was the words that came from Rebekah's mouth as Freya entered the home while shaking her head to free of the upcoming hangover she knew she would receive in the morning, "If I'm not mistaken, I'm needed at this meeting? I mean I can go back to the bar and just drink to forget that we have enemies popping up everywhere?" Freya rolled her eyes as she was not happy with the recent events and the new threats that seems to not stay dead and gone. She was dressed in a comfortable manner as her new love, Keelin didn't care what she was wearing or how she was dressed in a certain way. Her t-shirt is accompanied by her jean jacket as well as her jeans and steel-toed boots.
"Klaus how is little Hope doing? I have yet to see my niece, considering the wellbeing of Mystic Falls." Freya spoke a little more harshly than she meant, it was a little dig at her disdain of Hayley's choice to give her to someone named Caroline Forbes, someone she has yet to meet and not trusting her at the same time as she didn't know her like Klaus did. She had wanted to protect Hope and help her with her growing magic abilities until she was cut short of doing that when she was cursed. |

Kol took his sweet dear time making his way to the manor where their so called Family Meeting was, and honestly Kol had better things to do like finding out how to cure Rebekah, but also he was curious if his baby sister was going to tell Klaus about the Hex that was placed on her. He found it amusing how much his family always worried about every little thing, and with Davina, Rebekah, and also finding Hope on his list, Kol didn't have time for this meeting, but also listening to the constant wining of Klaus thinking everyone is out to get him.
It annoyed Kol his family always did, but if he didn't attend Kol was sure Klaus would track him down and not in a nice way either. Driving up to the Manor, Kol got out of his car he was an hour late, but he needed to make sure Davina was secured and hidden from everyone. He just wondered how he was going to break the news to his family that the witch is back with him.
Opening the door he sauntered his way inside motioning for Tatia to follow him. "Just tell Klaus and them what you told me. This should be interesting" Kol took her hand guiding her inside where he could hear the familiar voices of his annoying siblings, and already there is something going on which didn't surprise Kol in the least. " Why do you call this family meeting? Can't you see that I have better things to do then listen to Klaus complain like a bitch about everyone out to get him. Look who I found wondering our lovely streets. I'm sure Klaus you remember sweet Tatia " He made a kissy face to Klaus with a smirk to piss the hybrid off.
"Let's get this bloody meeting done so I can enjoy my time" He was so going to get under Klaus skin that was what Kol always did, and Elijah wasn't there to hell him to knock it off. Reaching for a glass of wine, he moved to find himself a seat kicking his legs up on the table not caring about manners or nothing.

I am only humanNormality wasn’t something that was achieved it was given to you the moment you are brought into the world, the moment you breathe the air that life has to offer you. Your life, in the beginning, is nothing but normal, it is peaceful, and it is perfect. Or as perfect as life can be. You have a family, people that love you, a home and food and clothing and then as you age, those things slowly change. Be it that you lose your family, your home or your food and so on. But for others, the changes don’t come quickly; they come slowly and painfully. And Tatia was no stranger to this. Tatia remembered the life she had as a young girl, the stories that she had been told about love and family. She remembered her mother telling her of the life that they had before coming over to the New World. The life that stole always loved ones, and in fear of that, they had come here, to the place of Tatia’s birth. At first, the couple couldn't have any more children, and then Tatia appeared into the world. She had been the luckiest girl in the world, raised in beauty and grace, given the best life that her mother and father could give her. And then came love – love for her husband and love for the child that grew in her womb – and then loss. Loss came pushing its ugly self towards her, the loss of the man that she deemed worthy of her love. It was just after Aliana and Erik were born that she had lost him, to a battle that wasn’t his to win. She could have left the world earlier, but she wanted to raise her daughter and son, wanted to see her grow in the flesh, and had bid her husband goodbye as she lit his funeral pyre and watched his soul rise into the air, to be with the gods. That was before she had met Elijah before she had chosen between Niklaus and Elijah. But it wasn’t long before the choice was thrown in front of her before she met two men that deemed themselves worthy of her love. And then the choice had come in the form of Elijah Mikaelson, the love of her life and her afterlife. Aliana and Erik seemed to love him as well, cherishing him in their child-like way. And then she seemed to be ripped from everything, the darkness stealing the light that once shown within Tatia. Darkness filled her vision whenever she tried to remember her life far after picking Elijah. She remembered much of her life with Elijah, remembered the love for the man and her children, and then she remembered walking, stopping by the home of the Mikaelson’s, followed by her death and her time in the afterlife. That is until she dug herself out of her grave and found herself in a new land. New things were thrown at her, her bloody and raw knuckles unable to grasp them. Witchcraft? Yes, at least, that was what she learned had brought her back for unknown reasons. Reasons that she attempted to get out of the woman that looked exactly like her, a woman that she learned was named Katherine Pierce, a woman that was her doppelganger. She had been back for a bit, she didn’t know how long because the world had changed so dramatically, but each day she would ask Katherine why she was brought back from her afterlife, why she was released and sent back into the world. A world that was foreign and strange, a world where she knew and understood that she didn’t belong. From the moment she was brought back, she was kept cooped up, not allowed to go anywhere outside of Katherine’s prying eyes. Not too long ago she had run into one of the Mikaelson’s, not the one that Katherine wanted her to distract, but none-the-less, running into Kol was a god-sent. And while she wasn’t allowed to divulge much information, she was able to tell a little. She had been brought back by Katherine to aid her, and while she couldn’t exactly tell what, she was able to say a bit. Katherine terrified her, and crossing her was never a good idea. So when she was brought to the mansion that the Mikaelson’s lived in, Kol had driven the entire way there. Tatia, unsure about the idea of cars and driving, had held onto her seat the whole way there. Her nails were digging into the plush seat, and before long they finally arrived. Exiting the damn monster was heavenly, she wanted to throw herself onto the ground and thank the gods that she was still breathing, but instead, she followed after Kol and refrained from doing so. He held the door open for her, and she smiled in small thanks as she entered, him following closely behind. She kept to the shadows, a timid and shy young woman as Kol told her to tell everyone what she had told him simply, and she swallowed nodding her head. ‘Why do you call this family meeting? Can't you see that I have better things to do than listen to Klaus complain like a bitch about everyone out to get him. Look who I found wondering our lovely streets. I'm sure Klaus you remember sweet Tatia. Let's get this bloody meeting done so I can enjoy my time’Tatia’s eyes wandered over to Klaus from her position that was slightly hidden by Kol’s figure. It had been a thousand years since she had last seen anyone in this room, or rather three out of the five. Two other women stood within, a blonde and a brunette, two that she had never met before. She stayed silent, picking at the bottom of her floral print white dress, her long curly hair cascading down her back and her front almost to her butt. With her free hand, she tucked a strand of long brunette hair behind her ear. It was weird that without all the braids that she had once worn, that her hair was so long in the modern hairstyles.

### words notes: xx A PERFECTLY CONSTRUCTED ALIBI Hayley rolled her eyes the moment Klaus spoke wondering about his siblings, and honestly, Hayley didn't have time to deal with the drama with what was going on. She has her own problems with some werewolves who have decided to come to New Orleans hunting for her pack. Taking the cup that he offered, Hayley scoffed at his words. "Like you care how I am doing, and I am fine don't worry so much after all you think I would harm my daughter" Hayley was still bitter for what Klaus had previously said to her a couple of nights ago when they were alone. Drinking the scotch down with a sigh where was Elijah when she needed him, but Hayley also knew the only person who could help her with her Hybrid problem would be Klaus.
Once Rebekah entered, Hayley smiled glad to have her friend back, and not facing Klaus alone, Hayley didn't need to tell Klaus anything of what her intel was with the wolves. It was honestly none of his business what she did with her pack. "Rebekah, How are you doing doll?" She said with a smile moving to take her seat far away from Klaus, but he could even feel her hybrid wanting to come out, and she was doing everything she could to keep from lashing out at those who Hayley considered family.
God, she knew the moment Kol walked through that door it was going to be a nightmare just him pissing Klaus off was something she didn't need. "Kol doesn't start it's bad enough I got to hear him all the time. Don't need to piss Klaus off worse" Because then he would be ranting and raving to the point Hayley would be driven crazy. The moment Freya opened her mouth, Hayley glared at the witch trying to be nice, but the curse was bad. "I did what I had to. You were not well at the moment, and my daughter's safety comes first. Besides I was there with Caroline and Hope. You can teach her all you want after we deal with your families drama" She said pouring herself another drink knowing this was going to be a disaster.

"IT SEEMS YOU PEOPLE RESPOND BEST TO DISPLAYS OF VIOLENCE" Klaus smirked and raised his glass to her comment before taking a step towards the scotch, filling his cup and taking one more shot down the hatch. Placing his glass cup down he turned to see his Rebekah comment about Kol missing. “Not just Kol but Freya and Elijah too, or have you forgotten your other sister and noble brother?” he inquired before turning towards Hayley. Deep down he knew they both enjoyed the rigid liquid that tainted their lips from all the stress that seemed to surround them. Smirking at Hayley’s feisty comment he decided to respond equally “Perhaps you shouldn’t keep secret’s from me and I wouldn’t have to think so“. Soon following his neutral scowl, Freya made her way in.
“Come now Freya, you are family, and thus what would a family meeting be without you in it hmm?” he said leaning on the counter where he was recently statued. However, as soon as she mentioned hope he chuckled a slight bit maniacally when she mentioned Hope. “Well I can only presume Hayley here filled you in on your niece, Unfortunately but yet so fortunate you will find out in due time dear sister” he retorted to her sarcastic demeanor before adding one last thing. “Little? I should say not little anymore though” as he took a glance towards Hayley with a minor scowl emphasizing his distaste of her poor judgement after knowing what happened not too long ago with his meeting with Caroline.
Once more the door opened and this time it was his brother Kol. Klaujs was dumbfounded and enraged at first with just the ending of his entrance. With a slow deep inhale through his nose he calmed a bit and repositioning himself to an upright position and walking towards Kol in a menacing manner as Tatia appeared from behind Kol tucking her hair behind her ear wearing a floral print dress and quiet as a mouse. Not one word was uttered from her as Klaus stared her down and then switched towards Kol. “and you magically run into her how Kol? Do you just drag every piece of prey around with you” he said sarcastically before turning towards her taking a few steps forward knowing that it was a possibility to be stopped by one of him if he retaliated too roughly. “ Clearly you are either are not whom you say you are, want something, or want to die. Otherwise you wouldn’t be here” he said in a blunt tone. He was just that, paranoid. At this point he didn’t know which of them to trust. If at any given point Elena, Tatia, or Katherine were together he wouldn’t know which he’d kill first. And to his defense he would just eliminate all just for the fun of it. This time it was was different. It was far beyond more than just enemies. This was about his daughter. He figured that with their personalities he could sense which one was which. Keeping his distance he turned and placed his hands behind his back crossed before turning to the crowd in front of him. “Presuming there are no more surprises, shall we find out why this "Tatia" is here with you Kol?” he scowled at his brother to start off while Elijah made his way there.

| The moment Hayley's mouth opened and words came out snarkily, Freya gave her a stern glare while giving her a non verbal aneurysm as she spoke, "I'd take that attitude and shove it somewhere else as it isn't needed right now Hayley." Her eyes darkened slightly as she wasn't in the mood for a fight with a cursed hybrid as well as not in a mood to fight with anything else. "I don't believe how you just left her with someone that Klaus only knows, I mean you hated this Forbes chick, why the hell would you give Hope to this stranger? I mean she's probably sought out by the enemy right now and guess where I am? Stuck in this crap that you caused by getting yourself cursed!" Freya snapped as she looked to Klaus before shaking her head to indicate that her tantrum is over and done with.
After saying her part, Freya looked around the table and looks down to her watch and chuckles darkly, "so what's this secret family meeting about? Bringing Hope home or wasting time with the enemy when I shouldn't have to waste my time figuring out how to bring down every single one of our enemies before bringing my niece home, where she belongs in the first place." A glare made its way to Hayley as she looked to Klaus and smiles fondly before speaking, "any bourbon left or did you hogged it all brother?" She questioned as she was not in the mood for any more quips about her attitude from anyone, "I'm also wasting my time being here when I should be out there figuring out how to bring back Finn, our brother to the world once again but I can't bring him back I need a powerful source or energy in order to keep me from dying." Freya spoke softly as she didn't want anyone to hear how weak she sounded as she was still grieving Finn's death more than anyone thought of.

The Original let out a snort, brow raising as she glanced at her sister, "Ah, well I seem to have lost my wits." She joked, lifting her glass back up to her lips and taking a long sip, watching Niklaus and Kol carefully. It was quite the entrance, with Kol bringing in a stray who claimed to be Tatia. If they believed every doppleganger, they'd be in a lot of trouble. Although, Rebekah had been so wrapped up in worrying about her curse that she knew not much of what Katherine was pulling.
"I've seen my fair share of better days, but the city has plenty to entertain," Rebekah rolled her eyes and hid her small half-smile at Kol's antics, instead focusing on Hayley and nodding to her. The mention of Finn had Bex's brow raising again, but she tried to keep a neutral look about her, shifting and taking a seat at the table. "So what's the first order of business? We seem to have quite the bloody list."
