Masquerade Halloween Event

The Mikaelson mansion was the place to be if you were invited to their Suarez. Needless to say that when one of the Mikaelson’s hosted a party they would invite all who did and didn’t matter. It was just courtesy and in their favor as always. The columns on the front of the steps were littered with blood and cobwebs. There was an abundance of masquerade monsters around the lot, some tombstones, lights, hanging decorations at on the foliage around the home and every single thing that you could think of to make festive Masquerade Halloween ball at the mansion. Definitely this was going to be a night to remember. With the veil down, who knew who had managed to escape its depths. After having sent out invitations to all, including Katherine herself he managed to get ready for the party just shortly after making sure everything was situated.



Taking a bit of a walk around the mansion, he assured himself that everything was in place, as well as his little tricks up his sleeves that he contemplated over and over and over again in his mind whether they were to fail or not. Not to mention He did invited Caroline and the girls but was unsure if they were to show. If he managed to see hope at the masquerade then his plans to attempt to get Katherine in a bunch would fail. He passed the lawn, the sides, backyards, dining tables, bar’s, and went over every decoration that could have been set. It was nearly perfect. With this, he went upstairs and searched for his all-black suit and tie, as well as his devilish mask that was also obsidian. He grinned a little as he stood there with confidence that this night would go at least somewhat planned. After getting dressed Niklaus kept an ear out for all the guests that would be arriving and knew that when the time came the hosts would show. Hayley was to aid him in that and he was waiting on her presence to go out onto the stairs to greet and thank the guests for coming before mingling amongst the crowd.

The mansion was looking unnaturally hallowed, proud that his family had managed to pull together to make this one memorable night for all, he was confident, and all done so with the most minimal of squabbling. Though this was what usually brought them together as a team, everyone was so eager to make a last impression when it came to these events that they had no choice but to focus on the task at hand. Now that it was done, however, the nerves were beginning to kick in. The invitation was forwarded not only to their friends within New Orleans, but also to those who resided in Mystic Falls. A momentary truce between friend and foe for one night of unique fun. Though he worried just how long that peace would last. Instead trying to focus on the fact that his niece could make an appearance. That was much more pleasant a thought than the destruction that could, and most likely will inevitably, occur.

Pulling on his suit, he focused intently on his breathing, attempting to calm, the emerald waistcoat a surprisingly nice touch, Hayleys idea that they were to attend in matching outfits, the vampire almost giddy at the thought of seeing her in her gown. She looked beautiful on the most of days, but he was certain she would be particularly eye-catching tonight. Mask slid into place, he took off to see which guests had begun to enter, tongue darting out to dampen dried lips, nerves beginning to creep once more into his gut. “You look positively devilish tonight, Niklaus,” he hummed with a warm smile, coming to a stop beside his brother, gazing down to where the festivities were about to be taking place. “Your mask suits you well.”

COME LITTLE LIGHT come away to the darkness She knew that she was Camille O'Connell because Kol and Freya explained it to her. She also knew the body she was in wasn't her body. When Kol told her that her name was Camille, she had seen a flash of herself but that was it for the first couple of days after being brought back. She was in a witches body who was beautiful and powerful. Not as powerful as other witches but Cami could feel the power. Freya had told her about her time with her family and her time with Niklaus and Marcel. It was nice for them to try and help her remember but hearing about them didn't help. The next best option was to see the others and hope that helped her remember who she was and tonight was the night. The Mikaelson's were hosting a ball tonight and it gave her the perfect excuse to dress up and parade around in a mask. No one but Freya and Kol knew she was back in the land of the living in another body. This could be a huge surprise for someone like Klaus tonight. Cami zips up the back of her powder blue ball gown then runs her hands over the satin material. A smile on her face as she looks in the full length mirror. Her golden locks were tucked tight up into an elegant up-do with a few strands curled around her face. She place some light blue diamond earrings in then slide the snowflake necklace around her neck. The blonde was starting to feel a little nervous, these people that were suppose to be important to her would be there and none of them knew she was alive. Makeup didn't take long then she was stepping into her blue stilettos. “Here goes nothing.” She picks up her mask to match her dress on her way out the door. She had a cab waiting to take her to the Michelson's mansion, her baby blues watching as other people arrive in front of her all dressed beautifully in their costumes for the night. Cami smiles at the man opening the door for her, she steps out putting her mask on and ties it gently so she didn't mess up her hair. She walks inside letting her eyes scan the room. She bites down on her lower lip as she walks down the stairs to the group of people were gathering and talking while music was playing. No one would know how she was, at least who she was inside which was nice since she really didn't remember who she was. After asking where the hosts were, she gracefully moves through the crowd then offers a kind smile. “Thank you for the invite. This is a wonderful party. I won't take up much of your time but I wanted to say thank you.” There was something about one of them, she felt a sense of familiarity with Niklaus. She was told that she was close with all of them but there was romantic feelings with Klaus and at one time Marcel. She wasn't sure.
