This is complicated for Caroline she does have feelings for Klaus and doesn't know what to do with those feelings. She had married Stefan, but after his death it was hard on her. Though having Hope did bring her some of Klaus.

Yeah, we can do something where Caroline could of contacted Stefan letting him know that she was on
her way to New Orleans and wanting a familiar face there. She could meet him in New Orleans or Mystic Falls. I am open.

Well there is a slight problem with that.  There is a curse on Mystic Falls and no can leave.  Caroline can only come to Mystic Falls if she has Katherine's permission so we are going to have to come up with another way to have them meet or we could do a phone call.  (We will need to have a board for that first.)  What do you think?
