### words notes: xx A PERFECTLY CONSTRUCTED ALIBI Hayley was nervous to tell Klaus who was just getting used to being back that his daughter was left with Caroline, and both of them vanished without a trace. Sure, Hayley was dealing with a curse laid on her that brought out more of her dangerous side, and it was best Hope be far away from both her parents until everything would be back to normal. She wanted her only daughter to have a somewhat normal life away from all the drama that they brought thanks to the Mikaelson's enemies. It wasn't fair, Caroline got to do everything with Hope something she and Klaus would never get to do and she was concerned since normally Caroline called her, but this time she was not picking up which is not normal for the vampire.
Reaching in her back pocket for her phone, Hayley texted Caroline again demanding a response, but once she didn't get one, she was going to call again. Moving toward the balcony of their home Hayley dialed Caroline's number again hearing it go to voice message. "Caroline you need to pick up your phone now. Where the hell are you and my daughter? I am concerned for both your safety. I'm going to tell Klaus about this, but I am not sure how he will take it. Please call me when you can" Hanging up a gentle sigh escaped her lips trying to hide the worry look on her face that way Klaus wouldn't know.
Facing the truth, Hayley knew exactly where Klaus would be since he liked to threaten witches, and it concerned her how was he coping from all those years suffering thanks to Marcel. Gathering herself together Elijah mentioned he would see her later tonight, and it was nice to have his company, but she also wanted to support the father of her child. Walking toward where Klaus would be she spotted him moving toward him. "Hey, do you think we can talk about something? I know you have been asking about Hope, and I have some news you may not like"
Now she was trying to put the words she wanted to say together watching him knowing that this was going to either get ugly or nasty. Caroline was going to be the death of her, but why had Caroline and Hope gone missing she did not know, but Hayley needed to know that her daughter was alright. Plus Hayley wanted reunite Klaus with his daughter who he never got to see grow up.

| PATHETIC✘ In the end we are left infinitely and utterly alone Much like any Father, Klaus, had recently been released from his imprisonment and dealing with the incessant Marcel, king of New Orleans and a new found threat. Having a day of peace wouldn’t have hurt him, in fact it might have even relieved him of his worries. But to no avail. Heading to the art studio for some very much needed relaxing time, he laid out a canvas just across the dim light that crossed over through the blinds of the old estate. Wherever there may be better light is where he would set up. His arm lay across the window’s edge while his head rested on his forearm, his azure hued eye's gazed over the walking patrons of the city. His mind could only rewind to his daughter’s face and the event’s sought after. The bloodshed, the amazing moments and even Camille, despite his dark twisted congregated thought's. This including the agonizing torture of his imprisonment that taunted him just about everywhere he went. /He will suffer for his incompetence/ . He kept his usual subtle frown in place before deciding to release all stress and games his mind played into one of the masterpieces he could conjure. Reaching out for his phone he took one glance at it, flipping his thumb through a numerous amount of emails, texts, and that he had received. Allowing a nod to form touching the side button that would close it for now. Setting it back in his back pocket he made his way over to the counter that held his aged scotch. Looking down at it he smirked before grabbing the glass bottle, pouring a double shot into the glass, closing the bottle to put it down, and grabbed the cup to retrieve to the station where he had laid out a blank canvas just moment's ago.
Looking at it for a moment he pondered different ways to express his deep and twisted thought’s but since all he could think about was Hope, it was a challenge. Letting his artistic side take over he shot the double into his mouth before placing the cup down and moved the stool before to the side in a vigorous manner before grabbing his brush and letting the strokes flow to what it wanted to paint. Eventually, some sort of piece would come from it but he would define it as he went, until then he took his time. His heightening hearing could hear and sense that someone would be approaching but stood completely silent continuing his work until he’d heard the knock. Usually he would allow yet another smirk to lightly graze his lips, however, upon hearing Hayley’s tone about having a conversation with him, it struck. The nerve hit as the very fiber of his being wanted to just have her go at it and tell him without having to explain that he may not have liked the news he was about to receive. “Do we now?” he spoke as he rolled his eyes quickly before turning towards Hayley grabbing the cup he used and maneuvered his way over to the bottle to pour yet another double shot. As he did so he held the cup in his hand giving his undivided attention to her. “To what do I have the pleasure of news that I may not relish in this time. Not that having yet to see my daughter was loathing enough?” he sarcastically remarked before shooting the drink back and lowering the glass to return to his drawing while he listened. |

### words notes: xx A PERFECTLY CONSTRUCTED ALIBI His demeanor alone told her that Klaus was in a bad mood and this only made her not want to tell him what was going on. Hayley should of told him that she gave Hope to Caroline, but she didn't think they would up and vanish from sight. Stepping further inside rolling her eyes at his words shutting the door behind her. "Yes, we do it involves your daughter and I know I should of told you, but this was for her own safety" Hayley spoke firm moving to pour herself a drink as well watching Klaus every moment, Hayley never knew with him just how his personality would be since Klaus was one complex man.
"Your daughter has vanished..I left her in the care of Caroline when she was young while looking for the cure. So now her and Caroline have vanished Klaus. I tried calling and I am not getting no response." Watching for a reaction, Hayley was prepared to get into a screaming match with Klaus, and with her own curse the hybrid side was just dying for violence, but as much as she hated Hayley needed Klaus help for control.
"Before you scream at me there is a reason why I did this, Klaus Katherine cursed me she done something, but I almost nearly attacked out daughter. It's like Katherine is bringing out the animal in me, and I can't control it. I feel like the wolf wants to take control fully of me" Hayley said clenching the glass between her hands taking a long drink herself. "This is better for our daughter, but I didn't think they both would go missing. I knew Caroline could give Hope somewhat of a normal life with Caroline's girls, but we are also putting them at risk. Everyone wants our daughter"
Hayley would protect their daughter with her own life and Klaus knew this as well. Was Klaus going to attack her? She didn't know, but her wolf was itching for a chance at a proper fight. "There is no way to get a hold of Caroline or Hope to know if they are safe, and that scares me Klaus our daughter could be anywhere in the United States" She slammed her glass down pacing back and forth angry Caroline just took her daughter.
"I told Caroline to always call me about our daughter and she didn't. It was as if she ignored my calls the last message from Caroline I got was that they were both being hunted, and she had to leave with the girls" Hayley spoke moving to find herself a seat on one of his chairs trying to relax and not worry so much about her daughter. "Marcel is planning something I know he is, but I don't know what Klaus. He is working with someone from what some of the wolves tell me, but no one knows who"
That is what bugged Hayley the most was no one had any answers about what was going on. All that she knew was they needed to find her daughter and Caroline, "Our enemies are coming Klaus and maybe Hope is better off right now away from us, but what if she is hurt, or what if something has happened to Caroline?" Many questions were going through her head, and she missed Elijah as well who was out finding some answers to the location of her daughter.

Niklaus Post template | PATHETIC✘ In the end we are left infinitely and utterly alone Hearing the words that were coming out of Hayley’s mouth made Klaus not even want to start painting. He put down the brush and shifted his body over to the windowsill to watch over the patrons of the city, arms crossed and a scowl on his face. The first few words had him think as he glanced over at her with a malicious expression. /Your daughter has Vanished/ rang in his ears and pounded in his head. As he went to speak she explained herself thoroughly. His eye’s furrowed at the mention of Katherine and just more and more confusing convoluted thoughts pierced his thoughts just idly sectioned nearly everyone as a threat and enemy. He lifted off the windowsill and paced slowly towards her as she continued to speak waiting a moment to let it all out. As soon as he watched her take a drink he started. “Are you seriously considering this preposterous truth telling idiocy now?” at first before picking up the glass he’d used for the scotch to go and retrieve another as she continued to speak. He attempted to keep his calm but it was far from easy.
He listened to the last of her speech as he shot down the scotch and slammed it on his counter before walking towards her again in a long stride to where she found herself sitting. Could almost say he was looking like a bull. “In under no circumstances did you ever think to come and tell me after my imprisonment!, But of course not, you wait until something went horrendously wrong like our daughter’s disappearance!” he sarcastically remarked. “Of course you would pick one person that I would trust to an extent, but The outcome of your strategy was not worth the risk it imposed on our daughter Hayley, No one could be trusted!” He paused for a moment thinking of everything that she was saying and it all became convoluted seeing that he obviously trusted few, but at this point in time, everyone was an enemy from the moment he heard the first words she said to him. He thought way back to when Katherine was in hell because of Klaus and his family but that only proved for her to be the number one suspect with Hayley’s information, aside from Marcel and the rest of the threat's coming which proved to be last in his book till hope was safely returned home. “I wouldn’t have doubted that Marcel would be planning a plot but I did need concrete proof. Need I remind you the countless times you have tried to protect our daughter and we’ve somehow managed to bicker our way into a multitude of contradictions because of your stubborn incompetence” he exclaimed and huffed sighing at the fact that nothing right now could be worse than his daughter missing. “Hayley, If Katherine has cursed you and returned … she must know more than we do, and possibly has come back for revenge. And I have an idea of who we should go after first, but, we need to do a bit more digging” He paused "And quickly" Klaus stated lastly with a heavy disdain in his tone as he turned to pace around the art studio. He did not know at that time how bad the curse on Hayley was, Why was Katherine the cause of her curse if not only revenge, Now also what Marcel seemed to be plotting. So much around in so little time. |

### words notes: xx A PERFECTLY CONSTRUCTED ALIBI
"Klaus I am doing what was right for our daughter you are not the only one who makes decisions about what our child goes through. I did this to keep her safe because I couldn't trust anyone, but you always told me Caroline was someone we could trust" Hayley said placing her hands on her hips knowing he was overreacting as her eyes rolled hearing his sarcastic tone. "No, Klaus under no circumstance did I choose not to tell you it was more that if I did you would go flip out, and our daughter didn't vanish Caroline just took her somewhere I don't know" That was Klaus issue he couldn't trust no one but himself, and his family, but they are also the reason why Hope's life was the way it was.
"That is your issue! No one can be trusted well I hate to tell you this Klaus, but at the time I am cursed so no it's not safe for me to be around our daughter because I wanted to rip her throat out" She said glaring at him moving toward Klaus shoving him quite hard. "Your paranoid I trust Caroline, and I get a say in what happens to my daughter. You have no idea what has been going on so don't be guilt tripping or blaming me for our daughter's disappearance." Hayley threatened clearly her wolf side was starting to show.
Her and Klaus needed to work together and figure out how to stop Katherine from whatever dirty deeds she was planning. "Klaus we need to get the family together and come up with a plan. I heard rumors from my pack of wolves, and I have a terrible feeling that Marcel is working with Katherine" Hayley said not wanting to jump to conclusions, but at the same time she couldn't help but wonder if that was the case.
Growling she quickly turned from Klaus feeling her eyes shift to yellow as she gripped the fire place growling low in her throat. "I can't control it I feel like I am going to hurt someone" Hayley said smashing her glass in her hand causing pieces to cut deeply into her skin, and at this point she didn't care if she was bleeding.

| PATHETIC✘ In the end we are left infinitely and utterly alone The cold stare that shone through his light azure eyes couldn’t have been sadder. The first words that came out of her mouth stung like a wasp’s sting. He knew he that she was partially correct about Caroline. He stepped closer towards Hayley as he continued to listen, his stare growing into a scowl. Taking his daughter anywhere without his knowledge was out of the question and he would see to it that she would understand. Feeling her shove, he reacted immediately grasping her hands and shoving them down, his own eyes changing color fluctuating between the blue and yellow hues while a growl emitted from his chest. That would be the only warning he would give. “I should be out there purging the threats of this world for her, including that parasite Katherine” He mentioned at the sound of possibly an alliance with the one he called son once and his enemies. His drums picked up the sound of her growl and the tightening of the fireplace. Once the glass had shattered on her hand he quickly reacted to step forward without hesitation in slight worry but held that back completely with a deep breath. Klaus held her shoulders to force her to turn around, his hands placed on teach side. “Listen to me very carefully” he paused in a whisper, his cold stare looking down at her shifting color, “Our daughter is the only thing I care about, if you are going to hurt anyone, it better be an assassination attempt on me, for if your urges lead to a strand of hair missing from our daughter’s head, despite my absence, there will be consequences” he finished. Regrettably speaking to Hayley in that tone although he showed no sign of regrets in his speech. However, Klaus had never known anything else but fear and power. He didn’t know how much of this curse would set her off but he didn’t much care, so long as it wasn’t towards their daughter. His own anger was the least of his worries but she was correct, that they did need to get the family together and soon. Despite his own ager he released her shoulders and stared at her wondering what could possibly go through her mind that very moment. She was angry, her eyes speaking for themselves as her braced for impact. He was curious a bit of how far this curse really set her off but he had an idea in the back of his mind. |

A PERFECTLY CONSTRUCTED ALIBI Hayley was trying to keep her temper in check, but she could feel the hybrid wanting to punish Klaus for what he has done to her. Growling a little bit with a smirk, Hayley felt Klaus hands on her shoulders as she shoves him quite hard away from her. "Don't you dare think for a second that I would harm a hair on our daughter. Your family is the one with the enemies, not me. I kept Hope safe for us, and also I knew no one really knew about Caroline"
There was always something going on with her and Klaus it was as if they both had a dark passion toward each other, but instead of love was nothing but violence. "Don't you dare threaten me, Klaus, I say what goes on in our daughter's life, and I keep her safe from your enemies. If anyone is a threat it's you" Her hand did reach out and smacked him hard across the face not caring for one moment that she damaged his face a bit.
"Don't ever say I will hurt my daughter, or threaten me that I would do something to Hope. Cause next tie I won't just slap you" Klaus could clearly be able to tell Katherine had done damage to Hayley, and she was much more hostel and hot-headed than anything. Hayley felt like a caged animal already being threatened that was something Klaus should have never done. Pacing back and forth, of course, he was going ot go after Katherine, but that didn't mean he would do anything. "Please, Klaus you talk about taking out Katherine, and yet she has invaded you for over five hundred years"

"IT SEEMS YOU PEOPLE RESPOND BEST TO DISPLAYS OF VIOLENCE" Watching her closely he wasn’t suspecting any random lashes despite their bickering. Eventually hearing those words spew from her mouth “"Don't you dare threaten me, Klaus, I say what goes on in our daughter's life, and I keep her safe from your enemies. If anyone is a threat it's you" and he went to speak but she continued. He watched her curiously as she spoke and let out a wicked smack come across his face. Granted he didn’t move much but it left a mark that would soon heal and leave the blood that came out dry against his face. He took her shove and slap because he couldn't bare to look at his daughter the same if he managed to hurt the one person aside from her father and family members that has been there since Day one. They fought together with all their strength and won. This time they wouldn't loose either and he vowed that to himself and to his daughter. Always and Forever not reigned with them as well.
Those words made Klaus angry. She wasn’t the only dictator in their daughter’s life. It was both of theirs, their responsibility to make sure she is safe at all times and the same passion that she held for keeping Hope safe he did as well. “You can try but you did not procreate by yourself little wolf. I suggest you watch your tongue” he angrily spat back at her taking a step forwards closer to her face. Looking down at her he was ready to retaliate if she were to lash out at him again. Clearly seeing that she was heavily affected by this cruse he held his tongue for the most part till she spoke of the the she devil herself and had about enough. He watched her at first when she paced back and forth and once she was done he sped up to suddenly grasp her attention by holding her arms down and tightly leaving inches away from their faces.
Klaus would never hurt the mother of his child but he would always express the dominance he held just as she once learned when she was the crescent’s queen. “If she had invaded enough, I would not be standing here against her. Just because a simply parasite decided to bypass me means nothing to me. You have forgotten that I am Niklaus Mikaelson, I will not stand for it” he said through slightly gritted teeth with a pause "Parasites Die, I do Not, And neither will my family. I refuse!" he raised his voice at her while his light eye’s gazed at hers and his tightened grasp released from her the side of her arms and lifted only his right arm to the side of her neck. “I do trust, more than you know…. “he paused before letting her go and stepping away towards the window gazing outward in a straightened position. /It is all of you, even my always and forever who do not/ he thought as he stood in silence making his point across very clear but keeping attentive to the one he called little wolf. For he was not going to allow another scratch on his or her frame.

Let's Play Klaus Hayley knew Klaus would not lay a finger on her, but her hybrid wanted to take down the Alpha male a few notches, and show Klaus he had no control over her. "I'm sick of your shit Klaus all that you know how to do is bring trouble, and I hope that slap hurt because you don't want to know what I want to do to you" She threatened with a growl watching him close, and knowing Klaus, Hayley didn't put nothing past the hybrid, but only listening to him talk over and over. She was the last of a royal bloodline. Damn it she was the Queen, and Hayley did not listen or bow down to no one.
"I don't give a damn Klaus that our one drunken night stand, and this daughter may be both of yours, but you are the one who brings threats to her not me" She said not caring one bit to watch her tongue, No the wolf was angry, and she was going to lash out big time at him. Charging at Klaus this time she shoved him quite hard enough to hopefully hit the wall. "Don't ever touch me again Klaus, or I swear you will be sorry."
She was trying to contain the beast within her that was screaming to come out and play with the hybrid, but quickly she tried moving away from him stalking like a predator. "You have no say over our daughter the only thing you know how to do is bring pain, destruction, and you threatened the mother of your daughter. Klaus you are no better, and I am glad our daughter is away from here. Caroline needs to keep her away from your enemies" Hayley taunted wanting to play dirty and show just how much she was the Queen.
"You have forgotten that I am Niklaus Mikaelson, I will not stand for it” Hayley chuckled with a smirk looking at him like he was the fool. Moving toward him breaking a piece of woof from a chair gripping it in her hand, he would see her eyes turn a golden yellow the curse taking it's effect. "What you mean the poor lost boy who's father beat him for being worthless, and yet here he stands all mighty and full of himself. What is your name supposed to strike fear in my heart Klaus? We'll I find it a joke"
Dropping the leg of the chair, Hayley knew it wasn't worth it and got her composure together "You don't control me Klaus we are equal and I will not stand and let you think that I will listen to anything you have to say" Hayley crossed her arms looking at him as if she was ready to see what he was going to do. No one ever disrespected Klaus and lived to tell it, but Hayley didn't show one ounce of feat, but Klaus would not hurt the mother of his child. template by Sammy @ Adox 2.0

"IT SEEMS YOU PEOPLE RESPOND BEST TO DISPLAYS OF VIOLENCE" Niklaus stood there with his back turned listening in. He did just mention to her that he trusted her and yet here she was yelling and boasting about how she didn’t care. It was her way or the highway and Klaus did not like the sound of that. He knew the history, he knew she was a Queen and there was nothing more fitting to him than a Queen who knew how to handle herself. He admitted to himself secretly that she did catch his eye way back in mystic falls but after just a short time of meeting Elijah, he saw the tenderness between them. Deep down he knew Elijah never really acted on his feelings despite the fact he had told him many times. But being the hybrid psychotic asshole that he was, he kept the emotions well hidden. Well aside from their miracle that was conceived in their one night stand as she mentioned before. Every single word that came out of her mouth were like daggers to the heart. Just about everything that she had mentioned was partially correct.
“Hayley need I remind you being a part of this family brings you enemies. Oh! Should I say sorry about our one night stand? It takes two to dance love, and I recall clearly that you weren’t opposed to it either” he exclaimed in return as he turned taking steps towards her throwing out his hands to the side as if to invite another hit or whatever he had coming to him. “She is our daughter, Not just yours! She has my blood just as much you. You do not have the only say in this Hayley. I’m sure that my worshipers out there are dying to see the other side of the veil. Do you see anyone here? I don’t believe so darling and shall I say that it’s been peaceful…why? Because they don’t dare cross the Mikaelson’s.” he boasted just after she spoke about keeping hope away from her enemies. Even if hope was not here, his enemies would follow both of them, just because they think they can get under his skin.
Of course, he had a severe pride issue, but it always came out for the better. Despite his deepened regret and constant fears, he knew that being vulnerable or showing it, was unacceptable in any way shape or form. “My name may not cause you fear but you of all people should know what happens when I’m crossed. Remind yourself of the treachery that has paved right beside me and never excelled. Remind yourself of the deaths that have come and perhaps maybe you would reconsider that thought… I may not control you Hayley but I will not be pushed aside...” he started with high tone and by the last few words, it had become a whisper with closed proximity as he took a few steps more forward. He stood in front of her looking down at the angered mother of his child with his own scowl that slightly softened. He knew that this was not her but he also knew that any fight between them would end up in him just taking the blows. He reminded himself of the day she had come after him when she found out hope was already walking. He wouldn’t fight back and he knew very well why. His intentions were all in his actions and those that knew him well, understood why.
