Freya Mikaelson is the oldest child from Mikael and Esther, and the older sister to Finn, Elijah, Kol, Rebekah and Henrik. Also the half sister to Niklaus Mkaelson, the son of Esther and Ansel. In the beginning life, Freya had a pretty good life with her two parents and her brother Finn. That was before Dahlia came one day and took Freya due on a deal that Esther had made years ago. Due to taking her away, Esther thought it would be better to tell Mikael that Freya had died instead of the truth. Which in the end, lead Mikael down a dark, cruel path.
As Freya grew up with Dahlia, she was taught magic and traveled. Dahlia allowed Freya to live planning to use her to brand a new form of power which she would absorb from the powerful Freya, casting a spell on her that causes her to hibernate for a hundred years to preserve her youth and to only age for a year upon awakening which is also presumably what Dahlia has done to preserve herself as well. Freya escaped from under Dahlia's wing and fled from her powerful aunt.
Centuries later, despite running from Dahlia, Freya craved one thing in her life and that was to meet her other siblings. In 1914, she went to a party being held by her siblings, and went as her brother Kol date. That night she saw them all, and in that moment she wished she was part of their family, though in that same night she saw a small part of Klaus cruelness as Kol got dagger in front of the whole party. After that, Freya put herself in a glass coffin in the Dowager Fauline Cottage where she then repeated her hibernation cycle until present day December 31, 2012.
There she met Rebekah only in a different body. Together they broke out, allowing Freya to be reunited with her brother Finn again and learn about the entire family. Even about Hope. After Dahlia and Esther went down, Freya had stayed with her family ever since, protecting them, and becoming a Mikaelson more and more.
Freya is trying to keep her family from falling apart, but also working on a barrier spell to make their home safe for Hope's return. She is unsure how to feel about Hayley leaving her niece in Mystic Falls. She knows her sibling's enemies were going to war with Marcel and some new threats he had coming from all across the world.

PERSONALITY ⚘
Not much has been shown of Freya’s personality as a child, however she did say that she and Finn would climb up in the trees and plot mischief. Freya appeared to be unassuming and naive when she came to the Abattoir as Kol’s date. However there was more to her beneath the surface. She only came to the party because she was desperate to see her family. Freya convinced everyone in the cottage that she was like any other inmate, but in truth, she is a strong and powerful young woman who is very well in control.
She has a firm sense of honor, as she killed Cassie betraying Rebekah to the Kindred. She has a fondness for her little sister and approves of who she is, having observed her throughout her stay in the cottage and when Rebekah was in danger, Freya showed no hesitation in protecting her. As such, she has shown disapproval of her younger brothers conducts and asks Rebekah to inform them that she will be making her presence known soon, expecting that they would be on their best behavior.
This shows that she has a sense of authority, being the eldest of the Mikaelson children. Freya has also exhibited a rebellious streak, as she fled from her Aunt Dahlia centuries before and she has been running ever since. She is also shown to have fondness for Finn, as he was the next of the Mikaelson clan she visited. She seems to have some nostalgia for him as she embraced him on their first meeting.
Freya has a very stoic personality, keeping a calm, difficult to read expression at all times. When she learned that Klaus had a child, she only sign of shock was to grab hold of her necklace. Likewise she showed little surprise upon seeing Finn’s new form and remained calm even when reminiscing for old times and telling him of Dahlia’s hunt for her. Freya has said that she has learned one hard lesson since parting from her family, It’s that some things must die so that others can live.
